» Infrastructure program

As part of its emergency relief program, PAG, in coordination with municipal leaders, beneficiaries, and the generous support of various donors, began in 2021 a housing construction and repair project specifically to support families displaced by hurricanes Eta and iota. These activities have been carried out in several municipalities in Comayagua, Cortés, Intibucá, La Paz, Lempira, Ocotepeque, and Santa Bárbara counties.

For over 35 years, PAG has supported the development of infrastructure to benefit the general population. In the 1990s, farmers did not have farm-to-market access roads or opportunities to market their produce. PAG has opened over 156 kilometers of new roads and repaired over 264 kilometers of roads to facilitate the marketing of vegetables and thereby guarantee the distribution of agricultural products throughout the year.
